what is a Catalytic converter warning?
AnswerAnonymous
yeah a bad catalytic converter can have numerous warnings depending on how blocked it has become catalytic converters don't get blocked on their own if your car is running properly they will last forever but signs you may notice is a rotten egg smell to loss of power to car barely running at all to an overheated converter that can actually catch on fire you should not replace them until you find the cause of them going bad in first place I have found out the main reason is a faulty air/fuel ratio sensor also known as oxygen sensors what happens is the air fuel mixture isn't correct so unburnt fuel is left in the converter this is bad all petroleum products are bad for them even silicone grease so have these sensors checked if your going to replace costly catalytic converters or you will just be doing it again not long down the road hope this heps

Need a pic if possible ,Where is the started located on my 20005 Ford focus SE zx4?
AnswerAnonymous
It's underneath the car where the motor bolts up to the transmission it is the only spot it can be since the starter works by placing a gear that is inside the starter in contact with the motors flywheel so when you turn the key the gear shoots out on what Is called a throw out bearing at the same time it shoots out it spins with a tremendous amount of force or torque enough to spin your flywheel enough to cause spark that ignites with gas and air and walla your car is running I say the rear of the motor is the only place it can be because your flywheel which lives in the very far most rear of you motor must bolt up to the transmissions torque converter which lives in the very front of the transmission THE EASIEST WAY TO LOCATE YOUR STARTER IS TO JUST FOLLOW YOUR POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE (THE RED ONE MARKED + ) DIRECTLY TO YOUR STARTER SINCE THE OTHER END BOLTSBTO TO THE STARTER...HOPE THIS HELPS
