My nephew from Denmark overstayed his visa 23 years ago. The family here in the US, needs proof that there is no repercussion with travels to USA now in the present, before getting a visa and coming to the border of USA.

He needs to got to the USA Embassy in Denmark. It should be no problem. The sanction is for ten years, si if this happen 23 years ago, he should be ok.
